METAL
COMPONENTS FOR SEATS are manufactured by FIGUERAS without the use of subcontractors. Following many years of strength testing, FIGUERAS has developed specialised solutions for welding and producing steel or aluminium alloys. The entire production of metal chair components is computer-controlled during manufacture.
Plastic chair components are manufactured by Figueras without the use of subcontractors. The plastic shells produced undergo special selection and testing before leaving the factory. The plastic components also form part of the chair’s frame, so their post-production inspection is particularly thorough.

SEAT
LIFT MECHANISM – a patented solution for the installation of seat-lifting springs ensures trouble-free operation throughout the chair’s lifetime. FIGUERAS provides a lifetime warranty for the seat lift mechanism.

Upholstered
seat and backrest – the method patented by Figueras for bonding the upholstery to the foam filling and metal frame has been named and registered as the so-called ‘integral mould’. An undeniable advantage of the integral form compared to traditional upholstery methods is its significantly longer service life.
In the bonded upholstery, there is no ‘felting’ or ‘sagging’ of the upholstery fabric. The integral form also allows for the immediate repair of a damaged seat, e.g. following acts of vandalism. Another innovation in the development of the integral mould is the use of an internal fire barrier between the upholstery fabric and the filling foam. This barrier provides full fire protection for the filling foam, making the seat completely non-flammable and ensuring the foam does not emit any toxic fumes.

Installation methods – non-standard installations – when installing armchairs, we draw on Figueras’ many years of experience. Metal legs are fixed directly to the floor using tested expansion bolts, selected to suit the specific floor surface and chair type. For non-standard installations, unusual floor surfaces, etc., we use HILTI products.

Warranty and installation service – the installation team has been trained at the manufacturer’s premises. We offer a full range of services covering installation, consultancy, warranty and post-warranty servicing. All factory-made chair components are covered by a 3-year warranty; we provide a 12-month warranty for installation work. Service is available throughout Poland within 3 working days of the service request.
Special projects – collaboration with architects – we offer collaboration right from the initial design phase. For non-standard solutions, e.g. preparation for simultaneous interpreting, demountable chairs, wheelchair spaces, we offer our advice and expertise. In the initial design phase, we can already produce an installation plan for the seats according to the client’s wishes.

Certificates from the Building Research Institute – we hold certificates for upholstered seats with plastic and wooden finishes (wooden elements not certified), a model range named Trevira.
