Eclisse was founded in the 1980s, when the family-run craft business— established in the late 1960s—gradually began to specialise in the manufacture of metal systems for doors and windows. During a visit to a trade fair, the owner of DE FAVERI, guided by intuition, decided to diversify the company’s original business by creating and launching a completely new product – a system for doors that slide into the wall.
The company officially commenced operations on 10 January 1989 under the name Eclisse S.R.L. This enterprising and ambitious plan, not without its risks, entailed investments enabling the management of modern industrial equipment and enabling the company to compete in the market. In the 1990s Eclisse’s business grew thanks to a commitment to development and hard work, and to a close-knit team of people deeply convinced of the merits of the project.
The expansion of the product range with innovative products, combined with the improvement of production processes, led to progressive and encouraging growth in the Italian and international markets.
Today, Eclisse is a recognisable and respected brand. Daily production stands at 1,300 systems. The company has 30 branches, over 2,000 distributors and 11 overseas offices.
Mission
We are a company that has been manufacturing systems for doors that slide into the wall for over 20 years. The company’s aim is continuous development and the production of robust, functional and easy-to-install systems. Our ambition is to give the concept of a ‘sliding door’ a new
meaning by using the sliding system to arrange any space and innovatively adapting the space previously occupied by a hinged door.
We are constantly improving our products, striving to ensure they meet every requirement regarding functionality, aesthetics and safety.
