EXTREME Sp. z o.o.
EXTREME Sp. z o.o. is a company with wholly Polish-owned capital. It employs several hundred staff and has an extensive network of sales branches, warehouses and company-owned shops throughout Poland. The product range is the result of many years of experience and dialogue between the manufacturer and its customers. The design of the products also takes into account the requirements of international partners. The copper-aluminium convector radiators, which marked the beginning of the company’s success, are modern and energy-efficient, creating a human-friendly microclimate in heated rooms. Currently, the range of products on offer is capable of satisfying the tastes of even the most discerning customers. In numerous companies across Poland, customers can purchase complete central heating systems, select the type and colour of radiators, and arrange for their installation. Water, electric and hybrid radiators are constantly being modified and modernised. With over a hundred different sizes of radiators suitable for every type of power supply and every kind of room, customers can choose from a range of 160 colours.
The head office and main production plant are located on Kantorowicka Street in Kraków. The tastefully decorated interiors are monitored by a CCTV system. The fully computerised plant utilises the latest techniques, and the research team works in close collaboration with academic institutions, constantly modernising technology and developing new products.
Production is not everything – hence, alongside ensuring high product standards, the company has established its own Research and Implementation Centre, built its own retail network, provides installer training and advice, and promotes modern heating systems. This is what the company looks like today: modern, dynamic, boldly investing, committed to effective promotion, and providing its customers with expert advice, installation and after-sales service.
To set itself apart from the competition, and in particular from the more or less competent copies of its products, Convector marks every radiator with the Polish Business Leader statuette. This distinction was awarded to the Kraków-based company in 1994 by the Business Centre Club, which went on to recognise the company’s reputation on three further occasions, honouring it with ‘Diamonds’ in the years 1996–98.
Among Convector’s prestigious accolades is the title of “Company of the Year ’96”, as well as numerous awards and distinctions received at international trade fairs and exhibitions in the installation industry in Poland and abroad. At the World Exhibition in Brussels in 1996, its product, a water-electric radiator, was honoured with the “Brussels Eureka Gold Medal”, and a year later in Pittsburgh, the same product received a silver medal at the World Exhibition of Inventions. For promoting Polish science worldwide, the company received the Scientific Research Committee Cup. In April 1997, Convector was awarded the prestigious "Construction Oscar", granted by the President of the Office for Housing and Urban Development, for its overall contribution to the housing construction sector.
The company’s standing has been repeatedly reflected in business rankings, including its inclusion in the “Golden 500” of the largest Polish private companies for the years 1996,1997, 1998 and 1999, published by the business magazine "Home and Market". Its strong position on the Polish market is also accompanied by interest from foreign customers. Convector S.A. exports its products to Russia, Germany and Ukraine, where it has its own sales offices.
