JAF Polska Sp. z o.o.
JAF – anything is possible.
JAF’s philosophy can be summed up in the short and apt phrase “Nothing is impossible”.
Behind this phrase stands a team of well-trained and motivated staff who make up our network of branches across Europe. This phrase is also reflected in the vast range of products available in our range. A constant stock of over 20,000 items enables rapid delivery of goods. With a fleet of 86 of our own lorries and delivery vehicles, we guarantee efficient logistics and maximum flexibility for our customers.
Our passion for wood is reflected not only in our commitment to the quality of the products we supply, but also in our service standards. We offer our customers expert advice, assistance with order fulfilment, specialist cutting and processing services for goods purchased from us, the option to choose complementary products, warehousing, logistics and much more.
All over the world, yet just like at home.
Only someone who knows their roots and the value of tradition can spread their wings and grow steadily grow. Our story began in Stockerau in 1948 as a small, privately-owned company. Today, we are an international group of companies operating in 19 countries.
We take a sober view of the potential for growth in new markets. When entering a new country always begins with the establishment of a single local branch, which serves as the foundation for expanding into a nationwide distribution network. The expansion of the network is always underpinned by an increase in the number of customers and their trust in our brand. In every location, we employ staff from the local region and support local development. Thanks to this, JAF is always close to its customers and gives them a sense of ‘familiarity’ whilst maintaining the highest international standards.
Regional focus.
We take responsibility for the region in which we operate.
The JAF Group provides stable employment for over 2,500 people across Europe. In Austria alone, our team numbers nearly 700 people. By building and developing our company’s regional branches—warehouses, customer service centres and office facilities, we not only provide the local community with the opportunity to work where they come from, but also contribute to strengthening the local economy.
It’s not just about business.
We strive to ensure that the local development in which we participate takes place on many . We offer financial support for charitable initiatives and also back various events and projects in the fields of culture and the arts.
The perfect duo: tradition and innovation
Tradition and experience form the solid foundation upon which we have built our success. However, we are not afraid of change, as only through change can we meet the evolving needs of our customers. We adapt to a dynamic environment and market demands. We introduce a range of innovative solutions so that, despite our nearly 70-year history, we continue to approach the foundations of our company’s development with a fresh perspective.
Pioneering solutions
An expression of the fusion of tradition and modernity is “Veneer World” – the world’s first online shop where you can view and order veneers. A database of over 1.2 million high-resolution photos, hundreds of available products, digital technology, the quality of products manufactured in our factories and the logistics of the JAF delivery network, is a pioneering solution that brings us even closer to our customers – in true 21st-century style.
Reliably and on time … even to the Moon
In every solution, even the most innovative, there is one constant element – logistics. Even the best goods lose their value if, instead of being with the customer, they are still on a lorry or in warehouse. One of our greatest strengths is our extensive and efficient delivery network.
A modern fleet of 300 cars, 86 lorries and 164 delivery vehicles delivers goods to our customers. With a 48-hour delivery window on working days – we guarantee our customers maximum flexibility in order fulfilment.
The lorries cover 13.3 million kilometres a year on their way to our customers. That’s as if they had circled the Earth 332.5 times or travelled to the Moon 34.5 times. During this time, an impressive 700,000 cubic metres of timber is transported. What can this be compared to? It’s as if we were to stack the goods on a football pitch to a height of around 100 metres...
