James Hardie was founded over 130 years ago in Australia and developed fibre-cement technology in the mid-1980s. . Since then, James Hardie has been manufacturing a wide range of fibre-cement building products for both internal and external applications: these materials are characterised by high strength, durability and versatility.
All James Hardie fibre-cement products are non-combustible (A2) in accordance with EN 13501-1. Fibre-cement construction products fibre cement are resistant to water, mould, pests, fungi and deformation. Fibre cement has a long service life and is resistant to UV radiation and rot.
Thanks to technological development and innovation, our products are more efficient than other façade cladding materials. Adapted to the European climate, James Hardie products remain beautiful, stable and weather-resistant, just as they were on the day of installation.
The excellent properties of our maintenance-free fibre cement products make them the first choice for
construction companies, architects and developers. James Hardie fibre cement is thinner and lighter, yet at the same time
stronger and easier to install than most alternative building materials.

Trust us: our fibre cement products are non-combustible, dimensionally stable and resistant to water, insects and rot.
- Easy installation thanks to low weight
Our boards are very stable, preventing cracks during installation. Furthermore, clean cuts ensure perfectly straight joints, guaranteeing a flawlessly executed installation of a tightly fitted product.
- A lasting, beautiful appearance
A façade that really is durable!
It does not shrink, crack or warp. Unlike wooden or PVC boards, James Hardie® fibre cement does not crack, swell or warp. What’s more, our products have up to three times the dimensional stability of wood.
Thanks to its high resistance to mould and moisture, the product retains its properties even when the fibre cement is constantly exposed to high humidity and weather conditions.
- Design is key
Over two dozen colours and several textures
Choose a cladding that has been designed to withstand all natural elements and retain its beauty over time. Whether you prefer bold accents or a harmonious design, James Hardie offers a stunning and modern range of designs.
