Since the dawn of time, humanity has sought shelter and safety under a roof. Initially, this consisted of leaves and
branches; today, the requirements are far greater. The purely protective function of the roof is also changing: "A
roof over one’s head’ has become a symbol of social status. Today, it must be beautiful and in harmony with the architecture of
the house. The market offers a wealth of roofing materials. The range is tailored to individual requirements and
financial means. What makes our roof tiles so unique is that we have named them after precious stones
: Ruby, Agate, Topaz, Garnet and Opal.

High-quality raw material

Precious stones and ceramic roof tiles are ‘treasures of the earth’. The clay from our quarries has the ideal composition, so
that no artificial additives are required. We prepare it with the utmost care so that it becomes
a beautiful ornament and long-lasting protection for the roof.

A variety of models

Over the millennia, the basic form of roof tiles has changed little. The shape of a roof tile should, above all,
safely drain water and protect against the effects of the wind. Many models have been developed in response to regional climatic conditions. This has led to a variety of designs that contribute to the charm of our towns and villages today. By offering you five models, we provide a unique opportunity to customise the design of every roof. You can be sure that such a roof will blend in with the local landscape and retain its own distinctive character.

Natural, warm colours

The tradition of coloured roofs is a rich one. Nature itself, through the diversity of raw materials, created the first
shades of roof tiles. Today, technology allows us to avoid monotony in the roofscape to a greater extent. That is why, in addition to natural red – available for every model – we offer copper red, brown and anthracite. An engobe – a clay paste made from the same raw material as the tile – is applied to the dried natural tiles. The tile, coated in this way, is fired, giving it a soft, matt sheen. The outer surface is completely weather-resistant and remains beautiful for
many years.

A refined sheen

With the new ‘Quarzengoben’ range of glossy roof tiles, you can shape more than just the appearance of new buildings. Buildings with historically coloured roofs can also regain their former splendour. Let yourself be inspired by the elegance and beauty of "glossy" roof tiles. Do you want a one-of-a-kind roof that emphasises the building’s architecture and stands out significantly from its surroundings? Black Crystal is a premium “Edelengobe” glaze for the most demanding roof shapes. We offer this interesting
enhancement of the roof tile coating exclusively for our Rubin and Opal models.

Complete roofing system

Every roof is only as safe as its details – which is why, for each of our models, you receive a complete system of accessories in colours matching the roof tiles. They are functional, easy
to install and safe to use. Our ceramic components are manufactured from the same high-quality raw material and in the same colours as the roof tiles. We produce the
remaining components
from metal and plastics, as these materials guarantee the highest level of safety in use.

Mastered technology

Even the finest raw material requires careful processing and harmonious production at every stage. Our equipment meets the highest standards of European technology and forms the basis of our guarantee of consistent quality. For your safety. This perfect production process and the consistently high firing temperature allow us to manufacture ceramic products with low water absorption that are uniform in every respect. Thanks to this, we are confident that our ‘precious stones’ provide lasting protection in every climate zone.
