An aluminium locking system, built-in SilentSystem underlay, exceptional water resistance, a wide colour palette and variety of surface finishes mean that Alloc floors are often recommended by architects when designing residential or commercial interiors.
The aluminium lock can withstand a load of up to 1,200 kg per m², which significantly exceeds the performance parameters of the competition. The very strong connection between the panels allows for the installation of a room measuring 15m x 15m (225m²) without the use of an expansion joint. The unique high-pressure surface provides customers a floor with a lifetime guarantee and exceptional resistance to water, wear, fading and stains.

ALLOC TRENDBOOK 2020/2021
Alloc has presented its Trendbook 2020/2021. This unique publication features interior designs using the brand’s flooring that were recognised in the World of Alloc competition.
The World of Alloc competition was open to architects, interior designers, and architecture students. Participants could submit their projects in four categories – living room, bedroom, children’s room and commercial interiors – and in each of these, panels from the Grand Avenue and Original collections. The competition proved very popular, with the organisers receiving almost 200 entries. The diversity of the submitted projects demonstrated both the vast range of applications for Alloc panels and the imagination and skill of the designers, which meant the jury did not have an easy decision to make.
The collection of works presented in the Alloc Trendbook is not only a publication summarising the competition, but also an overview of the current hottest trends in residential and commercial interior design. It provides an answer to the question of whether Scandinavian interiors in stark, cool colours are still so sought-after, or whether they are slowly being supplanted by other trends? The collection of visualisations gathered in the Trendbook also shows just how much influence the floor can have on a room’s appearance – its colour, tone, laying method or pattern give character to the entire interior. This publication is a source of inspiration not only for professionals, but for everyone who are interested in interior design or are facing the challenge of furnishing their own space.
