Novum – Playgrounds that bring generations together
NOVUM is a Polish, family-run manufacturer of playgrounds and recreational facilities, which has been combining experience, modern design and advanced production technologies since 1996. For over 30 years, we have been designing and creating spaces that encourage activity, development and social integration.
Our story began with a small workshop and our first wooden spring-loaded rocking horse. Today, we are one of the leading manufacturers of playground equipment, employing nearly 400 staff and offering over 1,650 products. All our equipment is manufactured in Poland, at a modern production facility in Szczytno, in the Warmia and Mazury region.
Comprehensive equipment for public and recreational spaces
We design and manufacture solutions for a wide variety of spaces, ranging from small playgrounds at nurseries and housing estates to extensive leisure parks, sports grounds and urban spaces.
Our range includes, amongst other things:
- Playgrounds and play equipment for children of all ages.
- Natural playgrounds made from black locust wood and collections inspired by nature.
- Inclusive and sensory equipment to support children’s development.
- Outdoor gyms, fitness equipment, street workout and Ninja Workout facilities.
- Street furniture, including benches, tables, litter bins, gazebos and features for green spaces.
- Dog play areas and equipment for activities with pets.
- Customised design solutions tailored to the nature of the project.
The diversity of our collections, materials and styles allows us to tailor our products to suit both modern urban architecture and natural park spaces or recreational areas.
A partner to architects and designers
At NOVUM, we believe that a well-designed space is created through collaboration. That is why we support architects, landscape designers and design studios right from the initial concept stage.
We provide technical documentation, DWG drawings, 3D models, product data sheets and information on required safety zones. We assist with the selection of equipment, the development of a functional layout and the adaptation of solutions to the available space, aesthetic requirements and the project budget.
Our design and engineering teams also provide support for more challenging projects, including bespoke designs and spaces with unusual conditions.
We also foster collaboration with the design community through the NOVUM PLAYTEAM programme, which offers access to materials, design tools, inspiration and technical expertise.
From concept to implementation and aftercare
Thanks to our in-house design, engineering and manufacturing facilities, we maintain control over every stage of the equipment’s development, from the initial sketch, through material selection and production, right through to quality control.
We provide comprehensive support for projects, covering consultancy, equipment selection, production, delivery, installation and after-sales service. We also guarantee the availability of spare parts for our equipment for a minimum of 10 years.
User safety is our top priority. We design our equipment in accordance with relevant European standards, including PN-EN 1176 for playground equipment and PN-EN 16630 for outdoor fitness centres.
Polish expertise, international reach
Our equipment can be found in thousands of projects in Poland and abroad. We work with local authorities, educational institutions, property developers, housing cooperatives, architects, contractors and investors in the tourism sector.
We treat every project as an opportunity to create a space that not only looks good, but above all meets the needs of its users and retains its functionality for years to come.
