The Permavoid System – innovative water management

The Permavoid system is a unique, innovative and modern solution for the construction of sports facilities, roads, car parks, cycle paths, pavements and green roofs, enabling a sustainable water management policy.

Traditional solutions involve the need for deep excavations, soil stabilisation and the transport of large quantities of aggregate and excavated material. The use of the system offered by the company PERFLOW S.A. has the following advantages:

• Reduced design and construction time.
• Reduced impact on existing installations and the environment thanks to minimised earthworks (shallow structure).
• Reduction in the use of heavy machinery and transport volumes, which contributes to lower exhaust emissions.
• The demountable structure means the system can be used where there are conflicts with existing installations (e.g. gas or water and sewage systems), facilitating access to them in the event of a failure.

The Permavoid system holds ITB Technical Approval, has undergone ISA SPORT testing, holds PZH certification, and has been comprehensively tested by the prestigious TRL road laboratory. The system does not require a water law permit.

PERMAVOID® sub-base:

At the heart of the system are polypropylene panels with thicknesses of 85 and 150 mm, which are characterised by very high mechanical strength (715 kN/m²) and a water storage capacity of 92%. In addition, Permavoid has developed a range of system accessories. As a result, this solution is a comprehensive sub-base and drainage system.
