1992 Production of swimming pools begins.
1991 Production is moved to Gryfice (also in the Szczecin Province); initial contacts are established with business partners in Poland; a POOL-SPA showroom is set up at the Permanent Construction Exhibition in Warsaw.
1990 Norwegian entrepreneur Even Olsen establishes the limited liability company "Pool-Spa" and, together with a group of Polish colleagues, begins production of acrylic whirlpool baths in Trzebiatów (then in the Szczecin Province).
The company’s range includes:
- acrylic baths
- whirlpool baths
- steam
massage cabins - multi-person spa baths
- shower trays and washbasins
- swimming pools
The POOL-SPA range includes, amongst other things, exclusive multi-person spa baths, which combine a small swimming pool with a bath. Depending on the size and type of bath, between 2 and 6 people can bathe in it at the same time.
A filtration and water treatment system allows several people to bathe repeatedly without the need to change the water, effectively combating microorganisms that develop in the water. In addition to filtration, heating and chemical water treatment systems, SPA baths, just like single-person baths, can be equipped with water and air massage systems, controlled by a sensor switch located on the upper edge of the bath.
The sensor switch can be used to set the desired water temperature, bath duration and intensity of the water-air jet.
The use of an ozonator is recommended, as this will reduce the amount of disinfectant required by 90% and more effectively combat bacteria in the water. For SPA baths intended for public use (e.g. in hotels, wellness centres, etc.)in accordance with the German DIN standard, it is recommended to use a large quartz sand filter operated by a 6-way valve, and it is also recommended to use an automatic chemical dosing system with pH and chlorine level control.
