Roca Polska Sp. z o.o.

Roca began its operations in Poland by opening a sales office in 1997. Two years later, it built a modern bathroom ceramics factory within the Gliwice Special Economic Zone, investing nearly USD 23 million. In 2004, work began on expanding the factory. It now covers an area of nearly 30,000 m². The cost of this investment was €18 million. Thanks to the expansion, Roca has doubled its production capacity to 1.3 million ceramic items per year.

The factory in Gliwice is the group’s most modern facility and ranks among the most advanced sanitaryware factories in the world. It is equipped with high-quality machinery and utilises advanced sanitaryware production technology, guaranteeing consistency and the highest quality of products. Sanitaryware from Gliwice is sold on both the Polish and Spanish markets, as well as in the territories of the group’s other subsidiaries in Europe, including France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom. Currently, the factory produces two brands of sanitaryware: Roca (the Victoria and Polo Plus ranges) and the Madalena brand. In Poland, Roca is best known for its range of sanitaryware, baths and taps. Its ever-expanding range of bathroom fittings also includes accessories, bathroom furniture and shower trays.

Roca Polska is one of the fastest-growing companies in Silesia. It currently employs over 340 people at its factory in Gliwice, making it one of the region’s leading employers. By contributing to economic growth and reducing unemployment, Roca plays a huge role in the socio-economic life of Silesia. The company is not only involved in rapidly growing business ventures but also takes an active part in initiatives that influence the social and cultural development of the region.
