Ceresit is the brand with the longest tradition in Henkel's adhesive range. It is one of the best-known and highest-rated construction chemical brands in the world. Today Ceresit is seen as an expert in tiling, insulation and sealing and our professional systems are used by construction professionals in over 60 countries worldwide! We conduct business responsibly, ensuring that the right balance is always struck between what the environment provides for us and our products and what we give back to the environment and local communities in accordance with the principle of sustainability.

Our competences

The search for modern, professional and economical technological solutions is one of the priorities of our company. We assume that quality does not only have to be proven, it must first and foremost be created. This is why we enrich the range of products included in Ceresit systems from year to year. The continuously expanding system material groups include:

Products for laying and grouting ceramic tiles

Fixing tiles is only a seemingly easy thing. A professional contractor knows that, in addition to careful assessment and careful preparation of the substrate, a thoughtful selection of construction chemistry materials is required to achieve the expected result. Ceresit offers dozens of tile fixing product systems, which are used depending on the quality of the substrate, the function of the room, the operating conditions, and the type of cladding to be glued.

Products for making and repairing floors

Floors are among the most vulnerable elements of building structures. It is estimated that floor repairs account for more than 70% of all repairs. The costs of such repairs are often several times higher than the price of the workmanship. The most common causes of damage include: mistakes at the design stage, mistakes in the selection of materials and execution errors. What can be done to avoid them? Ceresit systems provide ready-to-use solutions tailored to the requirements of each project.

Products for building insulation and renovation

Waterproofing is one of the basic technical elements of a building and largely determines its serviceability. Waterproofing - used in parts of buildings exposed to direct rainwater or groundwater - requires the selection of specialised products. Ceresit's range includes a set of professional materials for all types of waterproofing.

Concrete repair products

Reinforced concrete, like any building material, is exposed to the damaging effects of atmospheric agents - rainwater, frost or chemical compounds in the air. However, the damage caused by these can be effectively repaired. The Ceresit PCC system is a group of materials for repairing and protecting concrete and reinforced concrete structures.

Materials for anchoring and installation of structures

A group of water- and frost-resistant, fast-hardening cements and assembly mortars with a wide range of possibilities. They are used for anchoring metal and plastic components in concrete, pouring anchors for steel structures in foundations, sealing masonry and concrete in case of water leaks.

Products for plastering, painting and insulating buildings

By properly insulating the external walls of a building, heating costs can be reduced by around 30%. In winter, the house keeps warm and in hot weather it is pleasantly cool. At the same time it is possible to renovate the building - the thermal insulation layer allows to cover possible irregularities and cracks in walls, while the external plaster and facade paint provide a barrier against weather conditions and give the facade a new look. Ceresit systems for thermal insulation and façade finishing are a guarantee of the highest quality and best visual effect.

Our company is a member of the Association for Thermal Insulation Systems (SSO).

SSO is a trade organisation of leading Polish manufacturers of materials for external wall insulation systems. The aim of the association is to promote complete ETICS technological solutions of documented quality, guaranteeing comfort and safety of use. The association also promotes the correct execution of façade works and standards for the operation of insulation systems. For more information: www.systemyocieplen.pl.

Mortars and putties

Enable gluing aerated concrete or silicate blocks, bricklaying and pointing clinker walls, repairing traditional cement-lime plaster.

Sealants and polyurethane foams

Essential materials for any installation where sealing is needed. Flexible, prepared to work with different materials and in all weather conditions.

Primers

Priming is an indispensable procedure for most work involving construction chemicals. It guarantees good results in finishing work. Primers reduce the absorbability of the substrate, increase its surface strength and adhesion, and protect it against dampness. Ceresit primers will prove their worth in all circumstances, with different substrate and cladding requirements.

Complementary products

Their function is to facilitate the work of materials included in other product groups. They come to the rescue when greater adhesion or flexibility is needed, or when fungi and mould are a problem.

The Polish Research and Development Department, which is based at the Stąporków production site, has the honoured role of Competence Center for all Henkel locations worldwide in the field of thermal insulation systems and adhesive mortars. This means that plasters, paints and mortars from other countries in the region come to the Stąporków laboratory for testing. This is also where the recipes for many products manufactured at other European Henkel locations are developed.

Research

Our company was the first construction chemicals manufacturer in the country to boast an accredited, i.e. independent, laboratory. In 2004, the Central Testing Laboratory at the Stąporków plant successfully passed a series of audits and was awarded the Accreditation Certificate for compliance with the requirements of PN-EN ISO/IEC 17 025:2001. Upon receiving the accreditation, the Stąporków laboratory was authorised to perform independent quality tests on all types of adhesive mortars for ceramic tiles. Poland is also the first Henkel subsidiary worldwide whose laboratory has been awarded such an independent certificate.
