ISOVER has been present on the Polish market since 1993. In the stone wool insulation production plant in Gliwice, purchased in 1996 and modernised, a new glass wool production line, the most modern in Poland, was launched in 1999.
Due to the growth of the market for thermal renovation of existing buildings and the demand for products with improved thermal parameters also in new applications, another production line for glass wool insulation was commissioned in June 2008.

ISOVER offer in Poland

ISOVER products in the construction industry are used to insulate: sloping roofs (including Super-Mata, Profit-Mata and Uni-Mata), flat roofs, flat roofs, ETICS external walls (Fasoterm 35 recommended for use with weber.THERM and Aquabalance plaster), ventilated facades (ISOVER Super-Vent ULTRA and Super-Vent Plus with an lambda of 0.031 W/mK and a thickness range of up to 180 mm not previously available on the market), partition walls (Aku-Plate, Polterm Uni), foundations and floors. In addition to wall and roof insulation, ISOVER materials are also used extensively in industry - tanks, piping, marine, automotive, for insulation of installations and technical equipment and fireplaces.

Mineral wool for insulation and other ISOVER insulation materials have been used in many prestigious architectural buildings in various regions of Poland. These include the Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw, the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, the Warsaw Trade Tower skyscraper, the Naval Port in Gdynia, the Gdansk Refinery, the buildings of the Poznan International Fair, the Silesian Library in Katowice, the Main Railway Station and the Centre for Japanese Art in Krakow, the Polish Theatre in Wroclaw and many others.

What sets ISOVER apart?
  • QUALITY: Thermistar® technology provides effective thermal and acoustic insulation in all building applications.
  • SAFETY: Both glass and rock mineral wool are non-combustible, providing superior fire resistance.
  • HEALTH: ISOVER wool is resistant to fungi and mould, which is confirmed by the Hygienic Certificate of the Medical University of Gdansk and the EUCEB certificate, guaranteeing health safety during installation and use.
  • DURABILITY: ISOVER mineral wool retains its properties for up to 55 years without settling in a partition.
  • SAVINGS: Thanks to ISOVER insulation, heating and air-conditioning costs are significantly lower for many years, and the compression of the product to 7 times its volume reduces transport and storage costs.
  • ECOLOGICAL: 70% of the raw materials used for glass wool are recycled, significantly reducing emissions of harmful substances and gases, contributing to the fight against smog.
  • EASY TO INSTALL: ISOVER products are resilient and, with a lambda coefficient ≤ 0.036 W/mK, are self-supporting, eliminating the need to string them.
  • EXPERIENCE: ISOVER has been operating in global markets for over 80 years and has been setting the highest technological standards in Poland for 25 years.
