Quality and precision
Quality and precision are the cornerstones of our business – from the use and processing of natural raw materials, through the entire production cycle, to the service we offer our customers. This concept underpins Boen’s operations and is the result of mutual understanding and communication between Boen’s employees and our partners.
Product development
The development of new products and production methods is one of Boen’s key strengths. Examples include our patented ConneXProcess and Boflex sports flooring, which are characterised by perfect quality and dimensional stability – the fundamental characteristics of the product.
Our products are installed and used in extreme climatic conditions – from the extremely high temperatures and dry climate of Colorado in the USA to the equally hot and humid climate of Hong Kong. The structural design of our product and the interlocking system protect the boards from excessive expansion, thereby ensuring the long-lasting quality of the flooring.
Environmental awareness
Respect for nature is not just about conserving resources and working methods. It is also about managing our natural heritage, and this is our attitude and approach to the environment.

Among BOEN’s diverse collections, anyone who appreciates wooden flooring will find a unique, natural floor that will last for years. It is a feast of colours, shades, types and possibilities. The BOEN brand offers an impressive range of three-layer wooden floors, comprising both European and exotic species, a rich collection of oak planks, from lightened bleached floors, through natural shades, right through to stained – in shades of brown or dark chocolate. The manufacturer also specialises in 1-strip flooring in a variety of widths: from 300 mm to 139 mm. The collections of three-layer planks available include: Northern Lights, True Emotions, Beautiful Shades, Stonewashed, Chalet, Chaletino, Castle, Gent, World of the Sea as well as Fineline and Strongline. Most engineered boards are fitted with the quick-fit BOEN-X-PRESS. Boen’s revolutionary solution involves the use of a joint that facilitates the installation of planks not only on their longer side, but also on the shorter one. This is the latest generation of the 5G locking system, developed by the Swedish company Välinge – a leader in innovative flooring connection solutions. The Boen-X-Press connection technology facilitates and simplifies installation and drastically reduces the time taken to lay the floor. Many of the planks are available in both a matt lacquer and Protect-Ultra lacquer, or in natural oil. Thanks to the top layer finish, all floors are ready for use immediately after installation.
The manufacturer also offers a wide selection of solid oak floors, 20 mm thick, naturally aged and stained, available in widths of 137 mm, 162 mm and 187 mm. The surface of our solid oak floors is coated with natural oil or varnish. Each plank is dried in the traditional air-drying process. This ensures that the wood’s durability and warmth are preserved for many years, whilst the surface is perfectly protected. The range includes eight unique solid oak flooring options: Traditional Oak, Antique, Historical Oak, Traditional White Oak, Stonewashed Old Grey Oak, Tobacco Oak, Highland Oak and Yellowstone Oak.
BOEN also offers an exceptionally varied range of two-layer parquet floors, in various thicknesses, lengths and widths, designed for laying individual and unconventional patterns. The manufacturer offers three parquet collections: Prestige, Traffic and Maxi. Prestige – this is a variety of individual plank lengths, a multitude of wood species and patterns. All this means the Prestige series to have an individual and unique character. The Traffic series is particularly suitable for areas with high footfall. The six-millimetre thickness of the top layer gives the floor character. It is a robust floor that will last for many years. The Maxi series parquet is longer and wider than the other options. This type of floor is particularly suitable for living rooms and exclusive retail and commercial spaces, such as restaurants, galleries and boutiques.
BOEN has become an international player in the wooden flooring industry.

BOEN’s products are sold in over 40 countries across four continents, with its headquarters in Norway. In addition to production facilities in Russia, Germany and Lithuania, BOEN has sales offices in Norway, Germany, the UK, France, Poland, Sweden, Belgium and the USA.

Quick and easy installation with the BOEN X-PRESS system
Boen has recently launched wooden floors featuring the BOEN-X-PRESS locking system, enabling even faster and easier installation. In practice, this system utilises the new capabilities of the 5G locking system, patented by Välinge.
A new solution – modern technology
The revolutionary solutions employed by Boen involve the use of a connector that facilitates the installation of planks not only along their longer side, but also along their shorter side. This is the latest generation of the 5G locking system, developed by the Swedish company Välinge – a leader in innovative flooring connection technologies. The Boen-X-Press joint technology facilitates and simplifies installation and radically reduces the time taken to lay the floor.
The implementation of this unique technology at Boen is made possible by the hard work of many engineers and staff. The production process utilises top-class tools and production lines with enhanced precision and accuracy.
Installation
The Boen-X-Press locking system allows the floor to be installed without the need for tools. The individual planks are joined together by applying light pressure. The most important element of the joint is the so-called flexible plastic tongue, reinforced with glass fibre, located on the front edge; under pressure, it retracts, simultaneously allowing the joint to be effectively sealed. This system also allows for the installation of individual planks. The Boen-click-System has been retained along the length of the floor, meaning that new floor elements can be freely combined with existing ones.
Advantages of the BOEN X-PRESS system
The key advantages of this system are as follows:
- simple and quick joining of individual planks,
- time savings during installation,
- verification and assessment of the connection during installation,
- the option to use this solution when choosing to glue the floor to the subfloor.
Laying a floor with the new joining system means time savings, quick and easy installation, and comfortable use for many years to come.

Flooring installation techniques
Should the floor be laid as a floating floor, glued to the subfloor or nailed down? Wooden boards can be installed on most types of subfloor. We help resolve any technical issues that may arise.
Surface finish
Boen places great emphasis on environmental protection at every stage of production. Both the varnishes and oils used to treat the top layer are safe and harmless to the environment and to people.
Wood is a natural product – every tree has its own structure and individual colour combination. The original colour of the wood changes under the influence of light. As a general rule, darker wood takes on a more golden tone when exposed to light, whilst light wood darkens over time.
Protect-Ultra Varnish
A highly durable and scratch-resistant matt varnish. Protect-Ultra varnish is free of
solvents and formaldehyde, ensuring a natural finish on the varnished wood surface.
We offer a full and comprehensive range of cleaning and care products for our products.
Matt varnish
A floor finished with matt varnish resembles an oiled floor in appearance. It is just as durable and scratch-resistant as Protect-Ultra varnish, differing only in its lower gloss level. A A floorboard finished with a matt varnish has the appearance of natural, untreated wood, highlighting all its advantages. For the day-to-day care and maintenance of floors finished with a matt varnish, we recommend using Bona products.

Ecoline Oil
Ecoline oil, containing natural ingredients – sunflower oil, soya oil, natural carnauba wax and beeswax – gives the surface a refined matt finish. This oil does not emit any harmful substances and meets strict hygiene requirements, as confirmed by the ECO certificate from the Institute of Ecology in Cologne, which means it is suitable for people with allergies.

Natural oil
Natural oxidising oil accentuates the character of the wood, brings out the grain pattern, has a matt finish and makes the wooden floor warmer to the touch. This oil is also free from synthetic compounds and of natural origin (biocides). For the maintenance of floors coated with natural oxidising oil, we recommend oils from Osmo.
STAINED FLOORS

Stained boards
Floors stained in dark colours are a very attractive alternative to exotic floors. In floors stained in light colours, the grain pattern is regular, which makes the appearance of the boards more subtle. Stained floorboards are usually finished with Protect Ultra varnish or a matt varnish.

Bleached boards
White pigment is used to soften the colour of the wood and to create a modern interior. BOEN’s bleached floorboards are most often finished with a matt varnish. For the day-to-day care and maintenance of bleached floors, we recommend using Bona products.

Smoked and steamed planks
Through the wood-smoking process, the floorboards take on warm colours. Combined with the staining or oiling of the top layer of the board, we are able to offer a wide range of natural colours, such as those in the Stonewashed series. Additionally, gentle brushing of the top layer gives the plank a distinctive character.

Brushed boards
The combination of the staining process and brushing the surface of the plank allows for the creation of a distinctive wood grain. The top layer of the plank can then be varnished or coated with coloured or colourless oil, as is the case with the Stonewashed range. This emphasises the original character and grain of the wood.

Distressed boards
Boen offers both aged solid and engineered boards, which combine craftsmanship and carefully selected raw materials. The surfaces of the aged boards are gently brushed, stained and oiled.
