The company has been operating in the security sector since 1987, establishing itself as a market leader in this field. Widely known for its high-quality security doors, padlocks, PVC windows and so-called smart electronic security systems – these are, among other things, the result of the introduction of innovative production technologies and organisational solutions. In line with customer expectations, GERDA attaches great importance to the aesthetics and design of its products.
We strive to continuously improve them to meet our customers’ needs. The company’s scope of operations is being gradually expanded in line with global trends in this field. GERDA is also a manufacturer of complete production lines, special-purpose and task-specific machine tools, specialist machinery and equipment, automatic hydraulic presses with threading heads, fasteners for the construction industry, and packaging for the food and cosmetics industries. We design and manufacture tools – i.e. dies, punches and moulds. The company’s core business, in line with its mission, remains security technology – within which the range of products on offer is being systematically expanded. In January 2001, we will be presenting new external security doors, characterised by their understated elegance. GERDY’s market focus entails not only high product quality but also ensuring their widespread availability – for both individual customers and construction companies and developers. This is facilitated by a well-developed network of distributors and representatives across the country, which supplies wholesalers, supermarkets and shops, and collaborates with architectural and design firms, main contractors for construction projects, housing cooperatives,
management boards of various companies and public institutions. In the field of broadly understood, modern methods of property protection, asset security and personal safety, GERDA designs and implements professional alarm systems, access control, surveillance, fire protection and CCTV systems. — for banks, the military, government offices and private clients alike. GERDA’s professionalism has been recognised on both the Polish and international markets and honoured with a number of awards and distinctions — including the Teraz Polska emblem. Products bearing the GERDA mark have all the anti-burglary certifications required in Poland, as well as British Standards Institution certification. GERDA holds ISO 9001 and ISO 9002 quality certificates. It is important to note for our new customers that insurance companies – including PZU, WARTA and TUiR – have consistently offered the highest discounts for many years on insurance policies for properties fitted with our products.
