Xella Polska sp. z o.o. is a pioneer in energy-efficient building solutions. The company manufactures Ytong aerated concrete products, Silka lime-sand blocks and Multipor mineral insulation boards.
Ytong and Silka are innovative building systems with high thermal and strength properties, which enable the rapid and efficient construction of buildings for various purposes: from to large-scale industrial and commercial facilities. Ytong Energo+ is one of the few materials on the market that allows for the construction of single-layer walls meeting the highest thermal requirements. The range also includes the Multipor insulation system, which can be safely applied to the inside of walls, which is important for the thermal modernisation of historic buildings. The highest fire resistance of Multipor panels means they are also suitable for insulating ceilings in underground car parks of public buildings (e.g. stadiums, office blocks, shopping centres).
Xella is also a manufacturer of large-format reinforced Ytong blocks, which are designed for the construction of external curtain walls, internal walls and fire-separation walls, and, as floor and roof slabs, they enable the construction of various types of roof structures – from flat roofs, single- and multi-pitched roofs, through to hipped roofs, right up to arched structures, as well as being used for constructing floors.
Xella for architects
Xella is not just a manufacturer, but also provides a comprehensive technical and advisory service supporting designers, structural engineers and
architects in designing with Ytong, Silka and Multipor technologies. This is facilitated by a constantly expanding network of technical and sales advisors
across the country, as well as the Technical Sales Support Department and a modern
helpline.
Xella’s priorities are production quality and innovation. The company is constantly improving its product range by introducing new products with even higher technical specifications. Xella is a pioneer of many solutions – as one of the first building materials manufacturers in the country, it created an app that enabled its products to enter the world of BIM technology. This is made possible by the Rev-X add-on for the Autodesk Revit programme. It allows designers to automatically select specific blocks, lintels or other elements in the design. These can be viewed immediately in a 3D model. At the same time, quantitative analyses of the materials used, along with their prices, are available.
