PARQUET AND FLOORBOARDS
Amidst the ubiquity of laminate flooring, solid parquet and wooden floors have become synonymous with prestige. On the other hand, it is a product which, thanks to its properties, never goes out of fashion. It gives rooms a warm and unique look, an elegant character and a distinctive atmosphere. Apart from its aesthetic qualities, parquet is also a good thermal and acoustic insulator, a good regulator of air humidity and a non-allergenic material. Importantly, it is above all durable and can be refinished many times. It should be emphasised that today, compared to previous years, the range of parquet flooring is much wider. Customers can choose from over a dozen types of wood, sourced not only from our own region but also from Asia, Africa and the Americas. New colours have also emerged, along with large dimensions reaching a width of 20cm and a length of up to 2m. Solid varnished floors have recently become very popular, e.g. parquet and Merbau, Teak and Rosewood laminated planks (15x150 3Lam). The prices of many of these exotic ‘gems’ are on a par with those of domestic oak or ash parquet. The main advantages of these parquets include their hardness and stability, which compare very favourably with domestic species.
Bamboo
Bamboo is a specific type of grass. It is found mainly in South-East Asia.
Bamboo flooring captivates with its unique texture (which is completely different from that of timber) and its amber colour, which can be altered through appropriate heat treatment.
