The Lubusz Rock
Skała Lubuska is a range of innovative split concrete elements that resemble the beauty of natural granite, limestone, marble and sandstone. The patented Skała Lubuska components are suitable for use in the construction of retaining walls, noise barriers and fences, as well as steps, flower beds, waste bins and outbuildings. Launched in 2010, the Skała Lubuska programme is a response to the need for changes in the appearance of properties, detached houses, estate squares, park areas and the surroundings of old town tenement houses. This change stems from a desire in the aesthetics of small-scale architecture to achieve rocks resembling split stone. Innovative product solutions include items and designs that have been registered with the Patent Office. All Skała Lubuska elements are manufactured from selected gravels, grit and quartz sands using vibro-pressed concrete technology. A special ‘Big Raum’ splitting and heat treatment system was used in their production, resulting in low water absorption, high strength and high frost resistance.
