How does it work?
Flexvent consists of a sealed brass housing and an interior made entirely of plastic. The float floats on the water and keeps the vent valve closed. When air accumulates in the float-type air vent, the water level drops and the vent valve opens. The accumulated air is released, causing the water level to rise and the vent valve to close. This process continues until air accumulates in the float vent under operating conditions. An air cushion is located at the top of all Flexvent vents, protecting the valve seat from contamination.
