Opal armchair
Description
OPAL armchair - is intended primarily for auditoriums in cinemas and community centres. It can also be used in concert halls, theatres and conference rooms. The armchair's advantage is its ergonomic backrest which, thanks to the appropriate profile (filling) of foam under the lumbar region, gives the audience a feeling of comfort and relieves strain on the spine. The profiled foam of the backrest and seat is made using moulded foam technology, which ensures high resistance to deformation. Perfectly shaped armrests are made of solid beech wood. To ensure the user's comfort, a fabric with high abrasion resistance was used, from which dirt can be easily removed. On special request, we can offer you a fabric that does not absorb water.
The armchair has, as a standard, a backrest cover made of horizontally profiled plywood called "bucket". At the edge of the rows there are upholstered side panels - so called armchair sides. As an option, side panels are also used in the centre of the rows.
Additional accessories for the armchair - backrest cover, seat cover, computer-embroidered numbers or plates made of plastic or brass, drinks holder, desks folded in the armrest or mounted behind the backrest of the armchair. Removable systems, strapontenes.
Technical description
Chair foot - made of profiled, embossed sheet metal of min. 25mm high and with mounting holes spaced min. 240mm (durable and aesthetically pleasing element - no visible welds).
Supporting structure - made of 60x30x2 profiles.
Seat - profiled (bent in two planes horizontally and vertically), made with the injection method from high-quality fire-resistant PU foam. (which has a significant effect on the strength and resistance to deformation ) DOCUMENTED (e.g. test report) RESISTANCE OF THE SEAT FOAM TO DEFLEXION according to standard: EN 12727:2004: min: 100,000 cycles.)
Backrest - profiled (horizontally bent) made by injection moulding method from high-quality fire-resistant PU foam with metal frames embedded inside (it is not allowed to use foam cut from a block).
Fabric - fire-resistant knitted fabric 100% polyester. Fire barrier between the knitted fabric and the foam of the backrest and seat.
Armrests - made of solid beech wood stained or in natural colour. Painted with polyurethane varnish.
Armchair sides - upholstered (outer row only).
Backrest cover - profiled (horizontally bent) beech plywood stained or in natural colour. Thickness min. 10mm. Painted with polyurethane varnish.
Seat cushion - profiled (bent in two planes horizontally and vertically) of stained beech plywood or natural colour. Thickness min. 10mm. Painted with polyurethane varnish.
Seat tilt mechanism - gravitational. Elements for mounting the seat made of plastic with a lock for easy assembly and disassembly of the seat.
Approvals - Seats must be certified for: flame retardancy, toxicity and durability of polyurethane seat foams.
Seat numbering - computer embroidery on covers.
Row numbering - computer embroidery, brass plates with engraved numbers.
