Śnieżka S.A. Paint and Varnish Factory is one of the leading manufacturers of paints and varnishes in Poland. The company has achieved this strong market position over over 30 years – the company’s origins date back to 1984. At that time, the plant employed – including the owners – between a few and a dozen or so people. Today, Śnieżka is a modern plant employing around 1,000 people across the entire Capital Group and producing approximately 140 million litres a year of various types of construction chemicals for the domestic market and foreign markets.

Śnieżka’s long-term development strategy aims to achieve a leading position in the paints and varnishes market in Central and Eastern Europe whilst simultaneously entering new markets. To this end, the Company plans further measures to consolidate its position in key markets, expand into new markets, and to improve the quality of its products by utilising innovative solutions and to expand its product range in line with customer needs and market trends.

The Group’s products, designed for the protection and decoration of various types of surfaces, were exported to 29 markets in 2017. Śnieżka conducts ongoing research and development to improve its market offering, which is made possible, among other things, by the work of its own specialised research laboratory, which, having received accreditation from the Polish Centre for Accreditation in 2007, gained the status of the only such unit in the industry.
