A tunnel skylight brings light into the room via a specially designed tunnel running from the roof of the building to the ceiling.

Choosing a skylight

Choosing the right type of skylight depending on the distance from the roof surface:

• 0.4 m – 1.85 m – TWF
• 1.45 m – 1.85 m – TWR (where stronger illumination is required)

Application

A skylight tunnel can be used in living spaces where no natural light enters and where it is not possible to convert the loft. The product should not be installed in rooms such as living rooms, kitchens or bedrooms. In such areas, it is recommended to use VELUX roof windows, which provide more daylight.
The tunnel skylight provides diffused light without heating up the room in summer or causing heat loss in winter.
Permissible roof pitch:
15 to 60 degrees – profiled roofing materials;
35 to 60 degrees – flat roofing materials.
