The Aquastic System

Insulation and resistance to water and moisture

An advanced thermal insulation system that is vapour-permeable and resistant to water absorption, moisture and the build-up of dirt, supported by Double Dry and Fibre Force technologies.

System features:

  • Water vapour permeability and water repellency
  • Resistant to biological contamination, such as fungi and algae
  • Flexible and durable
  • Resistant to thermal stress and cracking
  • Excellent application properties
  • Colours: NCS, RAL, Natural colours

Approvals:

  • ETA 09/0014 dated 30 June 2023

System components:

1. Fixing*: Ceresit CT 83 Strong Fix adhesive mortar or Ceresit CT 85 Flex adhesive and reinforcing mortar, plastic anchors or steel-core anchors classified in accordance with the requirements of ETAG 014, the number of fixings and their spacing should be determined by the architect, based on a substrate analysis and load calculations.

2. Insulation material: EPS boards classified in accordance with the requirements of PN-EN 13163, with a thickness of up to 42 cm.

3. Reinforced layer*: Ceresit CT 85 Flex adhesive and levelling mortar and Ceresit CT 325 fibreglass mesh.

4. Primer: Ceresit CT 16 Primer.

5. Plaster: Ceresit CT 174, CT 175 Aquastatic silicate-silicone plasters.

6. Paint: Ceresit CT 48 Silikon Self Clean, silicone paint; Ceresit CT 49 Nanosilikon Reno, nanosilicone paint.

* CT80, covered by the Ceresit Ceretherm Universal ETA certificates, may be used as an adhesive and plastering mortar.
