Lighting for clean areas

Luminaires designed for lighting clean areas comprise a range of energy-efficient luminaires for T8 and T5 linear fluorescent tubes with an IP65 rating (dust- and splash-proof luminaires). The luminaires are fitted as standard with a glossy parabolic louvre and either a toughened glass cover or transparent acrylic, and all are available with an emergency power supply module. These luminaires are designed for specialist applications, such as healthcare facilities, operating theatres and laboratories – in other words, in rooms where sterility, protection against moisture and dust, and high light intensity are essential. The cleanroom lighting fittings offered by LUG have been awarded a Hygiene Certificate by the National Institute of Hygiene.
