For public toilets, Geberit offers the electronically controlled HyTronic60, HyTronic185 and 186 floor-mounted washbasin taps, as well as the wall-mounted HyTronic87 and 88. The latest dual-beam technology used in these taps ensures high user detection reliability, low power consumption and minimal water usage. The taps can be mains-powered or battery-operated.

Research has shown that an electronic tap uses six times less water than a traditional tap.
