PENEDER CURVED ROOFS
The Peneder self-supporting steel arched roof system is primarily designed for buildings with a steel structure and can be used in the construction of:
⇒ uninsulated structures, such as canopies, shelters, warehouses, etc.;
⇒ insulated structures, such as retail premises, exhibition halls, industrial buildings, warehouses, etc.
The Peneder arched roof is a self-supporting lightweight structure that requires no additional load-bearing framework. Made from sheet steel, the roof panels—each 610 mm wide—are curved both lengthwise and widthwise.
Thanks to their two-axis curvature, the individual roof panels acquire structural rigidity, which allows the Peneder arched roof to be tensioned between the supporting structures without the need for additional supporting structures.
Large covered areas do not necessarily have to be shady and cold. With the Peneder arched roof, it is also possible to create welcoming, sun-filled spaces. A unique system of transparent skylight panels allows light to enter across the entire width of the roof and opens up unique possibilities for flexible lighting design. At the same time, external structures do not interfere with either the aesthetics of the arched roof or the delicate roof covering.
Skylight and roof panels form a compatible system.
