Product descriptionTechnical dataDocumentation

FEATURES AND BENEFITS OF THE NIDA TYNK WALL CLADDING SYSTEM

The use of the Nida Tynk wall cladding system allows for:

· an attractive finish for existing walls. The system allows for the creation of smooth surfaces, even where the substrate is highly uneven.

· creating irregularly shaped surfaces, such as arches, using NIDA Curved plasterboard.

· Fire protection for the building’s load-bearing walls. Thanks to the use of cladding made from NIDA Ogień Plus plasterboard, the wall cladding system offers fire resistance on both sides. On the one hand, it provides fire protection for the wall’s load-bearing structure, and on the other, it acts as a fire barrier protecting the room and the people inside it in the event of a fire caused, for example, by a fault in a system concealed within the building envelope.

· improved sound insulation properties of the partition through the use of NIDA Cicha plasterboard or NIDA Twarda gypsum board, together with mineral wool insulation of the appropriate thickness and density. The system allows for the installation of a free-standing cladding with sound insulation of Rw=68dB, provided that 4x15mm thick NIDA Twarda boards are used, as well as 100mm-thick mineral wool insulation with a minimum density of 50kg/m³. Another key component of the system is the NIDA acoustic insulation sealing tape, which should be placed between the substrate and the perimeter profiles, as well as under all fixing fasteners in the case of anchored cladding.

· improving the thermal insulation of the partition, where it is necessary to use insulation material inside the building.

· Improving acoustic comfort in the room by reducing reverberation. By using wall cladding made from NIDA Sonic perforated plasterboards, the sound absorption coefficient can reach as high as αw=0.70.

· Provision of protection against the penetration of harmful X-rays into adjacent rooms. The wall cladding system allows for the use of NIDA RTG plasterboard panels with a lead coating. The use of this type of solution allows for the construction of partitions in rooms where X-ray-emitting equipment will be located.

* Please note! NIDA wall cladding meets the manufacturer’s specified performance parameters provided that all components of the system are used, namely plasterboard, fillers or plaster, steel profiles and installation accessories.
