FertigParkiet

This is a ready-to-lay, varnished or oil-waxed parquet with a two-layer construction. It consists of a high-quality top layer, 4 mm or 6 mm thick, made from oak, ash or exotic wood.

The bottom layer, known as the stabilising layer, is made of hardwood. Its use facilitates installation and ensures the floor has high resistance to warping. To protect the wood and highlight its natural aesthetic qualities, we coat the parquet with seven layers of varnish or three layers of oil-wax. Thanks to this technology, we offer a 30-year guarantee on our products.

Due to its construction, FertigParkiet is suitable for use with underfloor heating.

The dimensions of FertigParkiet are as follows: thickness: 11 mm or 14 mm, width: 65–70 mm, length: 490 mm.

Finishes

7 layers of durable varnish

Varnishing: Varnishing the floor highlights the beauty of the wood, adds a sheen and protects the surface. It requires no maintenance, but at the same time does not allow for spot repairs.

3 layers of oil-wax

Oil-wax: It penetrates the wood’s structure, bringing out its natural beauty whilst protecting the floor. It requires more frequent maintenance, but allows for spot repairs.

Brushing

This involves brushing the soft parts of the wood grain to create fine indentations. It gives the floor an aged look.

V4 chamfer

As with V2 bevelling, this involves gently chamfering the edges. However, with V4 bevelling, all four edges are treated rather than just two. This visually highlights the individual floorboards.
