Steel yet flexible bumpers. Softstop® bumpers do more than just protect gates, walls and equipment. Softstop® is a new, patented technology that absorbs the impact energy caused by collisions with forklift trucks and other vehicles.

Softstop bumpers absorb energy in excess of 12 kJ and protect against impacts of up to 10 tonnes at a speed of 6 km/h.

The secret behind these shock-absorbing properties lies in the interaction between spheroidal graphite cast iron* and an elastomer insert with adjustable hardness.

How do you choose the right impact absorber? Softstop® bases are available as standard for posts with diameters of 76.1 mm, 101.6 mm and 177.8 mm; other diameters can also be accommodated using spacer rings.
