Handling systems
A loading system is a set of interlinked products that enable the quick, safe and convenient loading and unloading of delivery vans. The use of special loading bays effectively protects loads from external factors and reduces the duration of the loading process itself.
ADVANTAGES:
- efficiency and time-saving
- safety and ergonomics
- protection of goods and property
- cost reduction
What does a complete handling system consist of?
A complete loading system comprises load-handling equipment such as: a dock door, a loading ramp, a dock seal and additional accessories – dock guides and bumpers. The components of the loading system are manufactured from high-quality materials using state-of-the-art technologies. These products meet the highest standards of safety and performance. All components of the loading system are compatible with one another, thereby ensuring smooth and safe loading and unloading of goods.
Loading dock seal
A dock seal is a key component of a loading bay, providing effective protection against cold or warm air entering the warehouse. It also prevents dust and debris from entering, as well as any precipitation. In addition, the seal protects goods from damage.
The dimensions of the seal are tailored to the dimensions of the lorry and the door.
Loading bay
A loading ramp is an electro-hydraulic device that forms a bridge between a warehouse and a vehicle’s loading area. It enables continuous loading and unloading, reducing the overall duration of the operation. The ramp’s non-slip surface provides good grip, ensuring complete safety for people and forklift trucks moving across it.
Guides
Guides are steel components positioned along the vehicle docking path leading up to the loading ramp. They ensure that the transport vehicle is correctly positioned relative to the loading ramp. The guides are made of durable, thick-walled steel tubes, protected by galvanisation. Their smooth surface minimises friction and ensures smooth vehicle guidance. They are available in two mounting options: for bolting or for embedding in concrete.
Rubber bumpers
Rubber bumpers are components made from a flexible, durable material, which are usually fitted to the walls of warehouse buildings. They are designed to protect the building and the lorry as it approaches the ramp, minimising the risk of damage and absorbing the impact energy. The bumpers are characterised by high durability and longevity, ensuring safety in loading areas for many years to come.
Industrial door
Industrial loading doors are a key component of warehouse and logistics infrastructure, enabling the safe transport of goods between the loading bay and the lorry. Their robust construction, functionality and safety technologies contribute to increased operational efficiency and safety at loading bays and in warehouses. Thanks to the wide range of options available, industrial doors can be tailored to the individual needs and specific requirements of any business. These doors can be operated manually or automatically (via remote control, smartphone, motion detector or magnetic field), and their design depends on the requirements of the specific loading bay. Sectional or roller industrial doors are the most popular choice, but our range also includes overhead sliding doors and folding doors.
Advantages of industrial doors:
- safety
- optimisation of goods flow
- protection against the elements
- available in a range of sizes and colours
Additional options for industrial doors:
We also offer industrial doors with additional options tailored to the specific requirements of each site.
- connecting door
- windows
- ventilation grilles
- exhaust vent
- access control devices: combination lock, proximity card reader, remote control, microwave motion detector
Add-on loading bay
An add-on loading bay (often referred to as a ‘hut’) is ideal where warehouse space is limited. The loading bay is installed outside the warehouse – it can be fitted at various angles – allowing for optimal use of space and adaptation to different locations and logistical requirements. The add-on loading bay features a built-in structure which, once installed, protects the interior of the building from heat loss and precipitation.
This portable loading bay is a practical solution for logistics and warehousing companies that require a flexible and efficient way of loading or unloading goods. Thanks to the mobility and versatility of this type of equipment, it can boost the efficiency of logistics operations and ensure workplace safety.
