PSIM – managing multiple systems from a single location

WinGuard PSIM+ is an open IT platform that enables the integration of various systems, the correlation of information from those systems, the presentation of a situational overview based on incoming data, and, as a result, the ability to control and manage multiple systems via a single user interface.

Thanks to its extensive integration capabilities, the WinGuard PSIM+ platform can be used to manage an entire site or complex of sites, rather than being limited solely to technical security systems. In addition to integrating security system devices such as cameras, access control readers and motion detectors, it is possible to connect, for example, computer network monitoring systems, building management systems (BMS) or other specialist systems.

WinGuard PSIM+ is a software solution that does not favour specific device manufacturers. It is a flexible tool that gives users the freedom to choose, whilst supporting the integration of both legacy systems and the latest solutions coming onto the market.

WinGuard PSIM+ is a solution that analyses information from various sources. Processing this data, identifying incidents as they occur, and managing them effectively in accordance with defined procedures improves operational efficiency. PSIM+ enables the development of step-by-step scenarios, whilst taking into account various situations that may arise.

WinGuard PSIM+ also enables centralised management of sites located in remote areas.

Integration of fire protection systems using the CC WINGUARD PSIM system

The WINGUARD CC Integrator is a pioneering system that integrates fire safety equipment, based on a solution from the German brand Advancis - WinGuard PSIM+. The solution provides the highest level of management for installed fire safety systems, the use of which is required by technical and building regulations.

The WINGUARD CC Integrator complies with all guidelines and standards relating to fire safety, as confirmed by the certificates issued by CNBOP-PIB.

The WINGUARD CC Integrator ensures that any fire protection devices and systems within a building work together, whilst also integrating with security systems, allowing all systems to be controlled from a single location via a unified operator interface.

An integral part of the WINGUARD CC Integrator is the WinGuard PSIM+ platform, which enables the management of fire incidents detected by fire alarm systems from any manufacturer via the operator console. Thanks to the CC Winguard Integrator, in the event of a fire hazard, the user/operator can take appropriate action in accordance with the safety procedures defined for the entire protected premises.

The WINGUARD CC Integrator monitors installations and devices located on-site or within a distributed facility architecture (PSIM), such as:

• fire alarm systems,
• audible warning systems,
• fixed fire-extinguishing equipment and systems,
• smoke and heat control systems
• fire protection components (e.g. doors, curtains, gates),
• emergency lighting systems,
• fire safety circuit breakers,
• lifts adapted to the needs of rescue teams (fire service lifts),
• other fire-fighting equipment used during a fire alarm.
