Heat recovery units with top-mounted ducts, for non-residential use

Product descriptionTechnical dataDocumentation

Application

The MISTRAL PRIME air handling units are a range of supply and exhaust units with very high actual heat recovery efficiency, designed for general ventilation in public buildings. They are ideal for use in healthcare facilities, educational establishments, industrial premises and larger residential buildings.

Characteristics

The MISTRAL PRIME unit is distinguished by the top connection of all four ventilation ducts, which facilitates installation in confined spaces. It ensures very high actual heat recovery thanks to a counter-flow heat exchanger and a sealed bypass with an actuator. The use of LongLIFE filters with an increased filtration area extends the time between filter changes by up to four times. The unit combines high energy efficiency with quiet operation.

Equipment

Standard equipment includes:

  • Counter-flow heat exchanger.
  • Sealed heat exchanger bypass with actuator.
  • LongLIFE air filters with maximum filtration area.
  • EC (electronically commutated) fans, ensuring optimal adjustment of ventilation to requirements.
  • Microprocessor controller (built into the unit).

Optional extras may include:

  • PTC pre-heater (built into the unit).
  • Secondary heaters and duct coolers (electric or water-cooled).

Automation and control

The MISTRAL PRIME control unit is based on microprocessor technology, featuring a controller within the unit and an external control panel, such as the RC7 with a touchscreen. It enables smooth and independent regulation of fan output and operation in automatic mode (weekly programme). It provides control of the bypass, secondary heaters/coolers and zone dampers. It is designed to work with GWC, smart building systems and to operate according to readings from CO2, humidity or VOC sensors.
