Application

MISTRAL PRIME air handling units are a line of supply and exhaust devices with very high real heat recovery efficiency, designed for general ventilation in public buildings. They are ideal for use in medical facilities, educational institutions, industrial plants and larger residential buildings.

Characteristics

The MISTRAL PRIME unit is distinguished by the top connection of all four ventilation channels, which facilitates installation in confined spaces. It ensures very high real heat recovery thanks to a counterflow exchanger and a sealed bypass with an actuator. The use of LongLIFE filters with an increased filtration area extends the time between replacements by up to 4 times. The unit combines high energy efficiency with quiet operation.

Equipment

Standard equipment includes:

  • Counterflow heat exchanger.
  • Sealed heat exchanger bypass with actuator.
  • LongLIFE air filters with maximised filtration area.
  • EC (electronically commutated) fans for optimum ventilation adjustment to requirements.
  • Microprocessor controller (built into the control unit).

Additional equipment may include:

  • PTC preheater (built into the control unit).
  • Secondary heaters and duct coolers (electric or water-based).

Automation and control

The MISTRAL PRIME control unit automation is based on microprocessor technology with a controller inside the control unit and an external manipulator, e.g. RC7 with a touch screen. It enables smooth and independent regulation of fan performance and operation in automatic mode (weekly programme). It provides control of the bypass, secondary heaters/coolers and zone dampers. It is designed to work with GWC, intelligent building systems and according to CO2, humidity or VOC sensors.
