Laminated boards
Laminated boards are a product based on a three-layer chipboard or MDF board, coated on one or both sides with paper impregnated with thermosetting resins, giving them a final finish that requires no further processing.
The lamination process involves pressing a decorative film onto a board whilst simultaneously creating a texture.
All SWISS KRONO laminated boards have antibacterial properties.
The ANTIBACTERIAL PROPERTIES of laminated boards mean that bacteria do not multiply on their surface. Tests, in accordance with ISO 22196:2011, are carried out on two bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli), and the results confirm that the surface of laminated boards has the ability to inhibit the growth of microorganisms.
