Creating a temporary road or a large, paved area is a challenge that often involves a lengthy and costly construction process. ROAD SYSTEM is an excellent alternative, offering a quick and cost-effective way to pave surfaces.
Quick installation
ROAD SYSTEM road slabs are fitted with dedicated installation holes, allowing them to be joined using special fasteners. The expansion joint system allows the material to expand and contract naturally in response to temperature changes, thereby increasing the durability of the entire surface. The reversible design allows you to choose between the side with protrusions or the flat side – depending on the road’s intended use and the type of traffic. Cost-effective transport
No specialist equipment is required to transport the slabs – a forklift truck or backhoe loader is sufficient at the delivery site. The slabs can also be delivered by a lorry fitted with a tail lift.
Lightweight
Depending on their intended use, ROAD SYSTEM slabs weigh 27/37/49/85 kg, which is considerably lighter than concrete equivalents of similar strength. A standard slab can be carried by two people.
Double-sided texture
The slabs feature a double-sided texture with different anti-slip ridges, allowing you to choose the optimal surface for your application – the lower ridges are ideal for pedestrian traffic, whilst the higher ones are suitable for wheeled traffic.
