Rising energy prices worldwide have prompted EFAFLEX to develop a completely new concept for high-speed spiral doors for industrial buildings. This new technical concept features improved physical properties of the door leaf and functional optimisation.

With the future in mind: EFA-THERM® slats

We are the first manufacturer in the world to offer EFA-THERM® insulated slats with standard thermal separation, designed for EFA-SST® doors. Depending on the size of the door, thermal insulation values ranging from 0.7 to 1.4 W/m²K can be achieved. The new door leaf is extremely robust, durable, airtight and provides excellent noise insulation. Depending on the desired light transmission, we can install any number of transparent EFA-CLEAR® slats made of acrylic glass in the EFA-SST® door leaves.

We are the world’s first manufacturer of high-speed doors to offer slats with standard EFA-THERM® thermal break technology in the EFA-SST® model. These significantly improve thermal insulation, thereby reducing energy costs.

Customisable

In addition to the standard aluminium-coloured finish, we can paint the door slats in any colour from the RAL colour chart on request. This allows the doors to be perfectly matched to any façade or to make the door stand out against the building, ensuring a professional appearance for the company premises.

Quick and safe: EFA-ACS®

As the world’s only manufacturer of high-speed doors, EFAFLEX offers a combination of a fixed door leaf with an active Crash system. The EFA-ACS® system not only protects the door from damage – and thus from downtime and the need for repairs – but also performs automatic self-repair within seconds! Should a collision occur, your door will still be ready for immediate further operation.

This is how the Active Crash system works

In the event of a collision, the slats—which are not permanently connected—are pushed out of the guide without being damaged. This is detected by inductive sensors, which, during the slow upward movement, correctly fold the inner and outer hinges of the sash.

Perfect wing handling

Copied 1,000 times – never equalled. The gate leaf is not wound onto a roller, but held at the correct distance within a patented spiral, meaning it takes up very little space. This operating principle offers you a range of unique benefits: only this unique design combines maximum opening speeds, durability and efficiency so effectively.

An oval spiral and a low lintel

EFAFLEX offers a range of high-speed doors. The round spiral is the standard version and also the solution that delivers the fastest opening and closing times. If there is limited headroom above the door, you can choose one of two options available in many models of the S series: an oval spiral and a low lintel.
