DW-MAMMUT Chimney System

Product descriptionTechnical dataDocumentation

The DW-MAMMUT system – a double-walled flue gas exhaust system – consists of smooth-walled, insulated pipes and fittings. The inner flue core is made of 8 mm thick ceramic material, whilst the outer casing is made of 0.5 mm thick stainless steel. The system components are thermally insulated with 32 mm thick mineral wool, tightly fitted to the flue core and outer jacket. This technical solution prevents the formation of harmful thermal bridges that conduct heat from the flue core to the outer jacket. The DW–MAMMUT system is available in diameters ranging from 120 to 200 mm. The individual components are connected to each other by a push-fit system using sockets and are secured as standard with a clamp fitted to the outer jacket. The system is designed for use with heating appliances featuring an open combustion chamber, operating under negative pressure in dry or wet mode, and fuelled by gas or fuel oil, with particular emphasis on solid fuels such as: wood, coal, fine coal, eco-pea coal and pellets. The use of a ceramic flue core resistant to aggressive condensate, produced during the combustion of fuels with a high sulphur content, guarantees many years of chimney operation. It can be installed both inside and outside the building, and a wide selection of chimney fittings, ceiling brackets, wall brackets and wall consoles ensures easy and stable installation of the chimney to the building wall or supporting structure.

Scope of application – as a double-walled flue gas exhaust system designed for combustion chambers operating under negative pressure, in dry or wet mode, fuelled by gas, fuel oil, with particular emphasis on solid fuels, e.g. open fireplaces, tiled stoves, pellet boilers, fine coal boilers, eco-pea coal boilers, gas and fuel oil boilers.
