Drainage systems with grates

Product descriptionTechnical dataDocumentation

AS grating line drains

AS linear drains with cast iron grates, available in internal dimensions of 100, 150, 200, 300, 400 mm, which you will find in our range, are designed for drainage of roads, streets, manoeuvring areas, etc. Our linear drains are distinguished by their superior quality. The body of the channels is made of C55/67 polymer-cement concrete reinforced with alkali-resistant glass fibre, which improves flexural strength and impact resistance . The frames, made from hot-rolled, hot-dip galvanised profiles anchored in the walls of the drainage body, significantly improve strength parameters compared to cast iron grates and other grates made, for example, from thin cold-formed sheets. Grates made of spheroidal cast iron, certified by the ROAD AND BRIDGE RESEARCH INSTITUTE in Warsaw (IBDiM) in classes ranging from B 125 kN to F 900 kN, are bolted in place using high-strength stainless steel bolts. Our range of AS drainage systems includes components with an internal gradient of 0.6%, 3.2% and elements without an internal gradient. It is possible to connect them in cascades to achieve a gradient, increase flow velocity and extend the length of linear drainage runs. AS channels can be connected at an angle. Our drainage systems feature water discharge openings fitted with PVC sockets with seals in the base or side walls; they can also serve as drainage chambers with debris traps. AS drainage elements are joined using ‘male and female’ joints; this solution enables a watertight connection to be made using frost-resistant and waterproof mortars. An additional advantage is the marking and numbering of the channels, which facilitates the installation of components into the appropriate systems, as well as the concrete’s resistance to prolonged exposure to frost and de-icing salts (‘R+’) in accordance with standard PN-EN 1433. AS cable trays have concrete chemical resistance, including resistance to petroleum-based substances, in accordance with standard PN-EN 858-1:2005

If you decide to use linear drains with grates, it is worth considering not only their appearance, but also their dimensions and functionality. The wide range of products available from AS will give you plenty of freedom when designing spaces such as courtyards, car parks, etc.
