GRP/FRP storage tanks

We are a manufacturer of storage and industrial tanks used across various sectors of industry, designed to withstand contact with a wide range of substances, both corrosive and non-corrosive. Our machinery and dedication mean we can deliver your tank quickly! 🙂

We manufacture structures designed for the storage of bulk materials, gases and liquids. Each of our products is made to order and can therefore be tailored to the client’s specific requirements. We manufacture structures such as liquid storage tanks, non-pressurised tanks, industrial tanks, GRP tanks, vertical tanks, underground tanks, horizontal tanks, fire-resistant tanks, process tanks, industrial tanks and fibreglass tanks.

Our portfolio includes non-pressurised industrial, process and storage tanks for media such as water, corrosive and toxic substances, bulk materials, industrial wastewater, fire-fighting concentrates and many others. As a manufacturer, we offer a very wide range of vertical, horizontal, cuboid and underground structures, which are suitable for storing both drinking water and water used for industrial purposes, such as fire-fighting liquids or rainwater. The structures we offer are made of fibreglass. Our range also includes all the necessary accessories. Take a look 🙂

Structures designed for the storage of non-corrosive chemicals are divided into vertical and horizontal types. During their construction, a type of resin is used which ensures that the structure is suitable for storing substances specified by the client and is resistant to corrosion and high temperatures. They are very often used for storing vegetable or mineral oils, aqueous solutions, paints, suspensions, as well as glycols and brines. Structures of this type are characterised, amongst other things, by high strength, lightness and a very long service life.

We also offer process tanks designed for the storage of corrosive and toxic substances. These tanks are capable of operating in extremely harsh conditions, as they are resistant to aggressive chemical environments. In the case of corrosive liquids, the tanks are fitted with a fill, vent, drain and inspection ports, a chemical-resistant lining and transport handles. As a manufacturer, we tailor each unit to the specific needs of the company or institution where it will be used.

Comprehensive construction of storage tanks. See how we work!

TROKOTEX offers its clients comprehensive support at every stage of a project, regardless of its scale or complexity. Our assistance begins with the preparation of full project documentation. We produce the necessary technical drawings and floor plans, and ensure that the formal requirements are met with the relevant authorities. This means you can always be confident that your company’s infrastructure has been built in accordance with the law.

Once the customer has carried out the necessary groundworks and laid the foundations (where required), we install the tank and fit it with accessories such as ladders and access platforms. All this is to ensure that you receive a piece of equipment that is ready for use. We register the pressure vessels with the Technical Inspection Authority (UDT).

The tank is assembled on site at the customer’s premises. Transporting the dismantled parts makes it easy and cost-effective to move the structure, and also allows it to be installed in hard-to-reach places, such as basements in industrial facilities.

Depending on the type of tank and the raw material or substance to be stored in it, it may be necessary to install various types of process equipment, measuring instruments or insulation. This is particularly important in industries requiring continuous monitoring of the fill level or the integrity of the tank shell. We manufacture storage tanks equipped with inspection hatches, minimum and maximum level sensors, leak detectors, filters, pumps and many other components that facilitate the use of the infrastructure and ensure that the material stored in the tanks retains its properties.

What makes a fibreglass storage tank stand out?

Our structures are made from fibreglass and polyester, vinyl ester or isophthalic resin. Fibreglass is characterised by excellent technical properties, offering a wide range of possibilities for the client.

First and foremost, it is important to note the high chemical resistance of this material. The tanks can be used to store most chemicals, including highly corrosive ones. Fibreglass is completely resistant to corrosion. Factors such as moisture – even when present for long periods and in significant quantities – have no effect on it. Fibreglass is also resistant to UV radiation, which is why our storage tanks can be used for both above-ground and underground installations.

Composite elements made from fibreglass – despite their strength – are extremely lightweight. They weigh just 20% of the weight of concrete and 25% of the weight of stainless steel. They are much easier to transport and install. If necessary, they can be moved to another location without the need for heavy machinery. They offer excellent thermal insulation. They also do not conduct electricity, so our tanks can be installed near high-voltage power lines, railway tracks, tram tracks or other infrastructure where high-voltage current flows.

Advantages and benefits

TWS storage and industrial tanks are a flagship product in our company’s range. The tanks are designed for the storage of a wide variety of substances (water, acids, alkalis). The plastic tanks are also ideal for storing drinking water, rainwater or process water.

TROKOTEX storage tanks are widely used in both the private and public sectors. They are valued by designers of sewage treatment plants and water treatment plants, as well as by main contractors for industrial projects, power stations and environmental protection projects.

The production process utilises top-quality resins and fibreglass, which offers a number of advantages:

No contact with the medium
The resin does not come into contact with the medium, which is water (the water is not contaminated).

Corrosion
resistance The tanks offer excellent corrosion resistance.

Small and large-scale
products We can manufacture large-scale products with unusual shapes.

High strength
The tanks are lightweight, highly durable and UV-resistant.
