Fibreglass tanks – Trokotex
We manufacture composite tanks from polyester-glass laminate, also known as GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic). GRP is a composite consisting of chemically resistant synthetic resins reinforced with appropriately selected glass reinforcements. Other known names for this material are GFK (from German – Glasfaserverstärkter Kunststoff), GRP or FRP (from English – Glass Reinforced Plastic, Fibre Reinforced Plastic).
GRP tanks are increasingly replacing stainless and acid-resistant steel as well as steel coated with anti-corrosion coatings. In places where severe corrosion occurs and there is exposure to harsh chemicals, all types of steel fail. For years, GRP/TWS products with the addition of fibreglass have been manufactured and used worldwide.

A wide range of resins and their parameters allows us to accurately and precisely select the right raw materials for each individual customer order. The chemical resistance of the laminate to a range of reagents is an advantage for plastic tanks.
Fibreglass tanks are recommended due to their high mechanical strength, low weight, resistance to corrosion and temperature, insulating properties, smooth inner surface, ease of shaping, ease of repair and cost-effectiveness in operation.
Advantages and benefits of fibreglass tanks
TWS storage tanks are our company's leading product. The tanks are designed for storing media for various purposes (water, acids, alkalis). Plastic tanks are also ideal for storing drinking water, rainwater or process water.
TROKOTEX tanks are widely used in both the private and public sectors. They are appreciated by designers of sewage treatment plants and water treatment plants, as well as by general contractors for industrial investments, power plants and environmental protection.
The highest quality resins and fibreglass are used in production, which brings many advantages:
No contact with the medium
The resin does not come into contact with the medium, which is water (the water is not contaminated).
Corrosion resistance
The tanks have excellent corrosion resistance.
Small and large-size products
Possibility of manufacturing large-size products with unusual shapes.
High strength
The tanks are characterised by low weight, high mechanical strength and resistance to UV radiation.
