We offer solutions for most docking applications. A loading ramp with endless possibilities

Our loading ramps are available in hydraulic versions, with a retractable or lowering lip, in various sizes and load capacities, or customised to your specific requirements. By selecting the options that best suit your needs, you can achieve significant savings and benefit from increased efficiency, high quality, reliability and safety of your loading ramp.

On the 233 ramp, the telescopic lip can be easily extended or retracted using the control buttons. This allows for extremely precise positioning of the loading ramp tongue on the vehicle’s load bed without damaging the rear row of the load being transported.

The standard load capacity is 60 kN or 100 kN. On request, we can supply models with a load capacity tailored to the customer’s requirements.

During loading and unloading, the ramp automatically adjusts to the vehicle’s vertical and lateral movements.

Loading Systems loading ramps can also be used to load the final items onto a vehicle below warehouse floor level.

The working range or angle of the flap can be adjusted to suit specific requirements.

Loading ramps can be supplied in almost any RAL colour or hot-dip galvanised. The operating range of the ramp can also be adjusted to meet your specific requirements.

The durability of our loading ramps

The robust, self-supporting design allows you to choose between various sockets with a closed or open base for the vehicle’s tailgate.

The front beam, with its modular design, is located at the bottom of the frame and serves to protect the hydraulic system and provide mechanical support at the bottom of the loading ramp.

The loading ramps offered by Loading Systems feature a fully enclosed hydraulic system.

Safety on and around the loading bay

A loading bay is typically a location subject to extremely heavy traffic, which is why careful planning of routes and bay allocation is crucial for safety management. Loading Systems can enhance safety around your loading bay by offering you a comprehensive range of products and accessories.

Low operating pressure in the hydraulic system

The use of a single, powerful, reinforced chrome-plated actuator with a double seal ensures very low operating pressure within the system. This results in fewer breakdowns and increases the system’s durability.

Emergency stop function

Loading Systems offers a unique safety mechanism integrated into the main cylinder which, unlike most sensitive valve systems, is not temperature-sensitive or prone to failure.

A single, oversized main cylinder instead of twin cylinders
. In the event of a fault, only one cylinder will be activated at any one time. If a loading ramp mechanism with two cylinders is activated, it rarely operates simultaneously. This can lead to a dangerous situation involving the ramp tilting.

If you prefer two main cylinders, or if you feel that a dual-cylinder system better suits your needs, Loading Systems can supply you with a loading ramp at no extra cost.

Safety switch

The control box can be supplied with an optional interlocked emergency stop switch.

Anti-slip
coating The standard platform features a chequered plate. Optionally, the platform can be fitted with an anti-slip coating, which also has sound-absorbing properties.

Gate-ramp safety device

A gate-ramp interlock can be fitted to both manually and electrically operated gates. This means that the ramp can only be activated once the gate has been opened.

Additional thermal and acoustic insulation

Loading Systems products typically connect outdoor and indoor spaces. This means that the challenge lies in keeping the cool or warm air inside or outside the building.

ISO Dock Solutions – Heated docks

Our hydraulic loading ramp with a 1000 mm extendable lip can be integrated into an ISO-dock. This solution allows the industrial door in front of the loading ramp to be closed, ensuring optimal insulation.

Stepped docks or transhipment huts

In cold storage facilities that use refrigerated vehicles or in fresh food warehouses, preventing contamination is a challenge; therefore, it is important that the vehicle doors only open once the vehicle has been docked. We can provide solutions tailored to these requirements.

Durable draught-proof seal

Loading Systems offers a robust solution for sealing the gaps between the edge of the dock and the loading ramp at the sides and rear.

Insulation of the platform

Insulating the platform improves its thermal insulation and absorbs sound.

Recipes

All loading ramps supplied by Loading Systems bear the CE mark and comply with the safety requirements set out in the European Directive and the PN-EN 1398:2009 standard. Furthermore, the loading bridges supplied by Loading Systems undergo intensive testing and trials under real-world operating conditions, as well as computer simulations.
