LED traffic lights: improved safety on and around the loading bay

Traffic lights improve safety in and around the loading bay. For example, traffic lights can be easily connected to the controls for the loading bridge, dock shelter and/or industrial door. But how exactly does it work? When the sectional door is opened or the loading equipment is activated, the traffic lights change from green to red. Once loading and unloading is complete or the door has been closed again, the light changes from red to green. This lets the lorry driver know that it is safe to drive off.

Traffic lights 500x250mm

This 500mm-high traffic light is the largest in our range. Thanks to the use of modern LED technology, the lamp is characterised by low energy consumption and a long service life. Consequently, the lamp features lenses with a diameter of 200 mm, and its average lifespan ranges from 50,000 to 80,000 hours.

Traffic lights, 250 x 250 mm

The square version is very compact and features a red cross and a green arrow. The lens has a diameter of 200 mm, and with a power consumption of less than 6 W, it can save a considerable amount of energy.

Traffic light 300x150mm

Are you looking for a compact road light due to limited space? If so, look no further, as the 300mm road light is ideal for situations where space is at a premium. The light features two lenses, each with a diameter of 100mm.

Traffic light 221x52mm

The signal column is a classic traffic signal and is highly suitable for industrial applications. Although the signal column has a lens with a diameter of only 52 mm, the product has the same service life as all other signal lamps in the range (50,000–80,000 hours).

Signal lamps for indoor and outdoor use

Street lights can be installed both inside and outside buildings.

• The external traffic lights are green by default. During the loading process, a red light comes on to indicate that it is not safe to drive away.
• The interior loading lights are red by default. Once the door is open and the loading ramp is in place, the light turns green. This indicates that it is safe to load or unload the vehicle.

In addition, the interior and exterior driving lights can be switched on in conjunction with a wheel chock or a vehicle detection sensor.
