NiroSan® compression system for flanges and elbows
NiroSan® Gas (17000 Series)
The NiroSan®Gas compression system consists of system fittings and thin-walled NiroSan® pipes made of grade 1.4404 stainless steel in accordance with PN-EN 10088. The pipes are tested in accordance with DVGW requirements, GW 541, and are longitudinally welded in accordance with PN-EN 10312.
All fittings in the NiroSan®Gas series are made from stainless steel grades 1.4404 (316L) and 1.4408 (threaded components, castings). Grade 1.4404 contains at least 2.3% molybdenum and has a reduced carbon content, which ensures high corrosion resistance.
The NiroSan®Gas system is designed for natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas installations in accordance with DVGW G 260, as well as for domestic gas installations in accordance with DVGW G 600 (TRGI) and DVFG-TRF 2012. The system has been tested in accordance with DVGW G 260 and G 5614 and approved by the DVGW, OVGW, SVGW and other recognised certification bodies.
Under Polish regulations, the NiroSan®Gas system may not be used in gas installations in buildings in Poland.
The fittings are fitted with HNBR gas-grade O-rings, clearly marked with a yellow symbol reading ‘GT-PN 1 (89 mm)’ or ‘GT-PN 5’.
Comprehensive benefits
combipress =
+ Tool compatibility: can be clamped using jaws or clamping loops with the original SA, V or M profiles up to 54 mm. There is no risk of using the wrong tool, whilst greater safety is ensured.
+ "Unclamped-leaky" (forced leakage prior to clamping);
+ Push & Stay: (slip resistance) to ensure easy and secure installation in any position.
- Quick installation, no fire hazard: The connection to stainless steel pipes via a clamp enables quick and safe installation without the use of open flames indoors. A useful advantage when retrofitting existing buildings.
- Excellent corrosion protection
- Grade 1.4404 (AISI 316L) steel is characterised by an exceptionally clean and smooth surface on pipes and fittings, whilst the passive layer of chromium oxides ensures high corrosion resistance.
A wide range
- All sizes available from 15 to 108 mm, including 64 mm
- Secure, permanent connection to NiroSan® stainless steel pipes:

NiroSan® Industry (18000 Series)
The NiroSan® Industry compression system comprises compression fittings and system pipes made of grade 1.4404 stainless steel in accordance with PN-EN 10088. The fittings are fitted with FPM sealing O-rings. The pipes are manufactured in accordance with PN-EN 10312 and tested in accordance with DVGW-GW 541 data sheets.
Due to its high corrosion resistance, the system is suitable for use in both open and closed systems, as well as for the transport of industrial gases and in high-temperature applications.
The compression fittings in the NiroSan® Industry system are made from steel grades 1.4404 / AISI 316L and 1.4408 (threaded fittings and precision castings). Compared to grade 1.4401, grade 1.4404 steel has a molybdenum content of 2.3% and a lower carbon content, which ensures increased corrosion resistance. In addition, all fittings are marked on the outside with a special red ‘HT’ symbol.
The system is approved by VdS for the installation of fixed fire-extinguishing systems.

Comprehensive benefits
- Combipress = tool compatibility
- Tool compatibility: the ability to crimp using jaws or crimping loops with the original SA, V and M profiles up to 54 mm. This eliminates the risk of errors resulting from the use of the wrong tool and increases installation safety.
- "Unclamped and leaking" (forced leakage prior to clamping)
- Push & Stay: (slip fit) ensures easy, safe installation in any position
- Quick installation, no fire hazard: The NiroSan® system enables quick installation (without the use of open flames) by crimping fittings onto stainless steel pipes. This guarantees operational safety, with no risk of corrosion or fire hazard (particularly important during renovation work).
- High corrosion resistance: The exceptionally clean surface of the pipes and fittings after passivation ensures high corrosion resistance.
