The SANHA®-Therm system of fittings and pipes for closed heating systems, compressed air installations and selected fire-suppression systems

Product descriptionTechnical dataDocumentation

SANHA®-Therm (24000 Series)

The SANHA®-Therm system consists of compression fittings made of galvanised carbon steel with black EPDM O-rings, which are connected to SANHA®-Therm galvanised carbon steel pipes.

The carefully engineered components of the SANHA®-Therm system provide an excellent solution for closed heating systems, compressed air installations and selected fire-extinguishing systems (using DZ pipe – galvanised on both ends). The "Contiflo" variant additionally offers a system of galvanised pipes made of carbon steel, characterised by very high flexibility.

Protection against external corrosion.

If the installation is likely to be exposed to high humidity or if the insulation becomes damp (due to leaks, condensation, etc.) or if the ambient atmosphere is corrosive to steel, additional anti-corrosion protection must be applied to the pipes and fittings. This can be achieved by applying waterproof protective coatings in accordance with AGI Q 151 or by using closed-cell insulation materials.

If, in addition, the system is operated incorrectly (e.g. poor water quality, oxygen in the system, leaks, damp or inadequate insulation, corrosive fillers), then it is justified to choose the SANHA Niro-Therm system made of stainless steel grade 1.4301 in accordance with PN-EN 10088.

Please note!

SANHA®-Therm pipes and fittings must not be installed in floors or walls due to the corrosive properties of self-levelling screeds.

In the case of radiator connections emerging from the floor, care must be taken to ensure that the pipes are insulated to protect them from the effects of disinfectants.

Storage and transport.

To prevent damage to the pipes during transport and storage, do not place them directly on the floor or store them in an area exposed to moisture. When loading and unloading pipes, do not drag them directly across the surface or expose them to the elements (transport under cover).

All fittings in the SANHA®-Therm series are marked on the outside with a clearly visible red dot.

Comprehensive benefits

  • Combipress – tool compatibility

Tool compatibility: can be clamped using jaws or clamping loops with the original SA, V or M profiles up to 54 mm. There is no risk of using the wrong tool, whilst greater safety is ensured.

"Unclamped-leaky" (intentional leakage prior to clamping in the case of EPDM and HNBR)

Push & Stay: (slip resistance) to ensure easy and secure installation in any position.

  • Quick installation, no fire hazard: Connecting to galvanised steel pipes using clamps allows for quick and safe installation without the need for open flames indoors. A useful advantage when renovating existing buildings.
  • Better corrosion protection thanks to the galvanised surface.
  • All sizes from 12 to 108 mm, including 67 mm
  • Thread adapters in accordance with PN-EN 10226 or PN-ISO7/1 Type R and Rp
  • Many combination options:
    • SANHA®-Therm pipes, electro-galvanised:
    • Longitudinally welded, airtight, thin-walled pipes with external galvanisation are best suited for closed heating systems;
    • material: carbon steel E195 (RST 34-2), No. 1.0034 in accordance with PN-EN 10305-3
    • delivery condition +CR1.
  • SANHA®-Therm DZ pipes made of carbon steel, galvanised on both sides:
    • thin-walled carbon steel pipes;
    • galvanised on both sides using the Sendzimir process;
    • high corrosion protection through double-sided galvanising and a thicker zinc coating – particularly suitable for use in fire suppression systems;
    • material: carbon steel E 195 (Z275 MBO) no. 1.0034 according to PN-EN 10305-3
    • Delivery condition +CR2;
    • Available in sizes from 18 to 108 mm;
  • SANHA®-Therm “Contiflo” pipes, galvanised:
    • made of hot-dip galvanised carbon steel E195, No. 1.0034 according to PN-EN 10305-3;
    • deformation processing possible;
    • hidden welds;
    • clean, dry, grease-free surfaces.

Application:

  • Compressed air (dry, oil content ≤ 25 mg/m³)
  • Sprinkler systems (wet)
  • Heating – closed system (without DZ pipes)
